How do I set up my Receipt Prefix and Sequence number?

Receipt Number Prefix

An alpha-numeric value that appears before the Receipt Number, on all e-tax receipts issued via raisin. The Receipt Number Prefix is defined during account set up and helps identify the origin of the tax receipt. We recommend prefixes like abbreviated forms of your organization name, acronyms, “E” (i.e. Electronic), “O” and (i.e. Online).

Sequence #

The next Tax Receipt Number (or serial number) to be issued by the system is identified here. This number is unique to every receipt issued through the system. Similar to the Receipt Prefix, a Tax Receipt Starting Number is defined by your administrator during account set up.
