To close event registration, simply adjust the End Date of your registration to a date in the past.
So your Peer-to-Peer event is close to selling out, but you'd like to close registration prematurely just to make sure you have space for a few sponsors or VIPs? Easy! To close event registration, simply set the Registration End Date for the applicable registration option(s) to a date that has already passed.
For example, let's say Team Captains Registration was supposed the end of the month, but on the 18th, you'd like to turn it off completely so you can save those spots. Follow these steps:
- Go your your Event and select Team Captain Registration.
- Click "Edit" next to the registration item you'd like to close.
- In the screen that follows set the Registration End Date to the past, like the 17th in this case.
- Click Save.
After this change, the registration option will be hidden from the front-end, preventing public registration. It won't affect those who have already registered or your ability to switch users to this option from the back-end.
Repeat the above steps for all registration options you'd like to end.
