You can reissue a tax receipt through raisin. The receipt will reflect that it has been reissued on the date of reissue.
There are two ways you can reissue a tax receipt.
Reissuing a receipt from the Manage Tax Receipts report
- Go to the reports page and open the Manage Tax Receipts report
- Enter the event ID or use the Advanced tab to search for the event that the donation was made to. You can only pull a report for one event at a time.
- Use the filters to further refine your search. You can search for a specific donor or receipt number. You can also search for all receipt within a date range or leave the filters empty and search for all receipts.
Filtering for Receipt Status lets you quickly see any receipts that failed to generate, failed to send, or that were cancelled. - Click Search Receipt
- This will bring up a list of donors with their tax receipt information. Find the donor and tax receipt you want to reissue
- From this list you have two options for reissuing the receipt. Click either Email or Download from the Reissue column
- Click Email to have a PDF copy of the tax receipt emailed to the address on file in the user record
- Click Download to download your own PDF copy of the receipt. This will then allow you to email out the PDF personally or print and mail the tax receipt to an individual.
The emailing option will reissue the donor's tax receipt to the email address present in their user profile. Please ensure the email address within the individual's user profile is correct, so the reissued receipt will reach the correct location.
To reissue the tax receipt to a different email address, change the individual's email address within their profile prior to reissuing the receipt.
Reissuing a receipt from the User Profile Record
- Find the user you need to reissue a receipt for. There are two ways you can find a user
- From the Manage Donors or Manage Users page of the event record
- From the Manage Users tab
- From the Manage Donors or Manage Users page of the event record
- Once you've found your user, click on their name to open their user profile record
- At the top right of the page, click on Tax Receipts
- This will bring up their tax receipt details
- From this list you have two options for reissuing the receipt. Click either Email or Download from the Reissue column
- Click Email to have a PDF copy of the tax receipt emailed to the address on file in the user record
- Click Download to download your own PDF copy of the receipt. This will then allow you to email out the PDF personally or print and mail the tax receipt to the donor.

Successfully Reissued Receipt
The reissued copy of the receipt will bear a Reissued stamp with the date the latest copy was generated. The status of the receipt will also change to "Successfully Reissued" and the record will re-export with the last date of issue.
