How do I reissue a tax receipt?

You can reissue a tax receipt through raisin. The receipt will reflect that it has been reissued on the date of reissue.

Reissuing a tax receipt can be completed in Reports, using the Manage Tax Receipt report or directly from a donor's User Profile. When you've found the receipt you require, you have two reissuing options:

  1. Email
  2. Download

Reissuing and sending a receipt via email

Once you’ve found the located the donor and receipt, select "Email" from the Reissue options. Doing so will then trigger the receipt to be sent to the donor via the contextual "Tax Receipt" email.

The emailing option will reissue the donor's tax receipt to the email present in their user profile. Please ensure the email within the individual's user profile is correct, so the reissued receipt will reach the correct location.

To reissue the tax receipt to a different email, change the individual's email within their profile prior to reissuing the receipt. 

Downloading a reissued receipt 

The second option is downloading, which will allow you to download the tax receipt as a PDF. This will then allow you to email out the PDF personally or print and mail the tax receipt to an individual.

Successfully Reissued Receipt

The reissued copy of the receipt will bear a Reissued stamp with the date the latest copy was generated. The status of the receipt will also change to "Successfully Reissued" and the record will re-export with the last date of issue.
