What are user profile fields?
You’re able to set the fields requested at the point of donating, registration, purchasing, or even volunteer info. This ranges from name and address information, to being added to a mailing list, or asking custom questions.
This section allows you to select which fields you would like to include when collecting information about your Participants, Donors, Purchasers, Offline Donors, Attendees, Billing Contacts, or Volunteers. You can indicate which fields to Hide, Show, or Show and make Mandatory. You also have the ability to customize all the field labels in the Custom Name field. You can customize different fields to include labels in both English and French.
Make sure to Save before changing to a different constituent type or language, or your changes will be lost.
Note: With the exception of Attendees, First Name, Last Name, Mailing Address and E-mail Address fields are always mandatory for receipting purposes, so cannot be hidden (highlighted in dark grey).
