I forgot to send tax receipts. What happens if I start receipting midway through the campaign?

Tax receipts generate retroactively for all eligible donations made prior to initializing tax receipts.

No need to panic if you went live with an event and did not initiate charitable tax receipts -- intentionally, like in the case of a Gala where you're waiting to determine the Benefit for partial receipts -- or accidentally.

By clicking “Start Sending Tax Receipts”, any donors who contributed and are eligible to receive a receipt -- that is, equal to or above to the event's Minimum Receiptable Amount and marked as Receiptable in Assign Codes) will receive their retroactive tax receipt by e-mail.

When these gifts are receipted, the Receipt Status in raisin will change from "Not Receipted", to "Receipted". 

Your table of items in Assign Package Codes will also lock after this change, preventing updates to Codes or Receiptable Amounts.
